UNDERSTANDING YOUR ABIDE PROFILE

Your scores are a starting point for reflection, not a verdict.

Your ABIDE profile reflects how you currently experience yourself when hosting conversations. It helps you notice both the skills available to you and the habits that may surface when conversations become pressured, uncertain or difficult.

THE TWO SCORES

Two perspectives.
A richer understanding.

Your ABIDE profile shows two independent measures. Together, they give a more realistic picture of how you host conversations.

ABIDE SKILLS

Your hosting capabilities currently available to you.

This reflects how consistently you bring ABIDE behaviours into your conversations. Higher scores suggest that these skills are more accessible to you.

LIMITING PATTERNS

Habits that may narrow Presence under pressure.

This reflects how often habits that can make Presence harder to sustain show up in your hosting. These may be more visible when you experience urgency, tension, uncertainty or responsibility for getting the conversation somewhere.

These are two distinct measures.

Strong hosting skills do not mean limiting patterns disappear. You may have substantial ABIDE capability and still notice particular habits emerging under pressure. The value lies in understanding the pattern between them.

EXPLORE EACH ABIDE™ CAPABILITY

Five capabilities. A more human way to host conversations.

Select each capability to explore what it means, how it may show up for you, and a reflective question to carry into your next conversation.

A
ATTEND Be fully here.

What it means

Attend is the capacity to bring attention, steadiness and self-awareness into the conversation before trying to influence what happens next.

When it’s available

I listen fully, notice what is happening within and around me, and create enough inner space to choose my response.

When it’s harder to access

Urgency, emotion or pressure may pull me into reacting, preparing my answer, filling silence or moving the conversation forward too quickly.

A question
to carry

Can I be fully here before I try to lead what happens next?

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

ABIDE is not something we complete.
It becomes a way of hosting.

Every meaningful conversation gives us another opportunity to Attend, create Belonging, inquire more deeply, enter Dialogue and make room for Emergence.
