Real Presence assessments, including the 8Cs™ Self Presence Assessment and ABIDE, are designed to support awareness, reflection and development.

They offer a perspective on qualities and patterns that may be present at the time you complete an assessment. They do not define who you are, and results should not be treated as fixed labels or absolute judgments.

For example, in the 8Cs™ Profile, Presence and Fragmentation are distinct measures. One is not calculated by subtracting the other. A person may have meaningful access to qualities of Presence while also experiencing protective patterns, particularly under pressure.

Our assessments and profiles are developmental and educational tools. They are not clinical or psychological diagnostic instruments and are not substitutes for medical, psychological, psychiatric or other professional advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Where assessment results are used in a facilitated, organisational or developmental setting, they should be interpreted thoughtfully and in context.

A profile is a snapshot, not a verdict.

People respond differently across relationships, situations, cultures and stages of life. Your results may therefore be most useful as a starting point for curiosity:

What am I noticing? What might this be telling me? What becomes possible from here?

We encourage you to approach your results with reflection rather than judgment.

Assessment results should not, on their own, be used to make significant decisions about another person's employment, suitability, health or psychological condition.

Real Presence®, 8Cs™ and ABIDE, together with their associated frameworks and materials, are intellectual property belonging to their respective owner(s).

You may use Real Presence materials made available for personal use for your own reflection and learning.

Unless we have given you written permission, you may not reproduce, republish, sell, commercially distribute, substantially adapt, create derivative assessments from, reverse-engineer assessment scoring, or represent Real Presence materials or frameworks as your own.

If you would like to use Real Presence materials in an organisation, programme, publication, workshop, research project or other professional setting beyond any permission expressly provided with the material, please contact us.

Real Presence may share stories, reflections, experiences or contributions from individuals, teams and communities.

Where you submit material for possible publication, we will seek appropriate permission before publishing material that identifies you, unless you have already expressly agreed to such publication.

Please do not submit material that infringes another person's privacy, intellectual property or other rights.

We may edit contributed material for clarity, length or presentation while seeking to preserve its intended meaning.

Your privacy matters to us.

When you provide personal information or complete a Real Presence assessment, the collection, use, disclosure, protection and retention of personal data are governed by our Privacy Notice and any specific consent or notice presented to you at the point of collection.

Where assessment responses may be used for research, learning or the continuing development of Real Presence, the applicable purpose and consent arrangements will be explained at the point of collection or in our Privacy Notice.

This separation is worth keeping: Singapore's PDPA includes obligations concerning consent, notification and purpose limitation for the collection, use and disclosure of personal data.

We take care in developing the information and resources available through Real Presence. At the same time, human development is complex, and no website, framework or assessment can account for every person's circumstances.

We may update, refine or change our content, assessments, scoring approaches, resources or website features as Real Presence continues to develop.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption or that every piece of information will remain unchanged over time.

Our website may contain links to other websites, resources or services operated by third parties.
